Deep in Wild Space lies a system known as the Red Nebulan. The sentinels of this system believe that they have a sacred duty to protect the galaxy from the valuable gems they possess, which they consider to be their religious relics. They have taken it upon themselves to keep these gems out of the hands of powerful governments. Count Dooku, aware of their beliefs and the worth of the gems, seeks to enlist one of their guardians to further his own agenda.

Located in the "Little Nul Hutta" district on Coruscant is a night club owned by the notorious Hutt gangster, Zerro. Although the Hutts don't reside in the area, they still profit from running various clubs, casinos, and other nefarious activities. One such establishment is Nul Hutta Nights, which aims to give its customers a glimpse of what it's like to party in Hutt Space.

The Red Nebulan received orders from Count Dooku. Though he disliked killing innocents, he understood why he was tasked to destroy this place. He prayed to his gods for strength, knowing that their sacrifices would be for the greater good.

Detective Roe Dane heard about the blast on the radio and had a strong suspicion it was the person he had been hunting. He quickly alerted his team and headed to the scene. The other C.S.F. members fanned out to search the surrounding areas for any clues that may help them. Upon arriving at the scene, Detective Dane met with a local police officer who provided him with a valuable lead.
Standing amidst the rubble of the destroyed club, the Twi'lek held a fragment of the bomb that had caused the catastrophic explosion. The writing on the bomb was clear: "Property of the Republic Navy." Turning to Detective Dane, she asked pointedly, "Why would the Republic Navy do this to Zerro's Club?"

Detective Dane furrowed his brow in thought. "I don't believe the Republic Navy was involved in this," he said calmly.

The Twi'lek looked skeptical, but it was possible that she was simply worried about her own safety, given the club had been destroyed on her watch.
As soon as the Mur brothers located the suspect, they gave chase on foot. But the Red Nubulan knew he was in trouble and reached out to Count Dooku via comlink. "Dooku, I need your help," he said urgently.

Without missing a beat, Dooku responded, "Make your way to the next street and stop where you can see the level above you." The Red Nubulan quickly complied, seeking refuge in the indicated spot.

Count Dooku then concentrated his powers and used the Force to lift the Red Nubulan up and onto the next level, out of harm's way.

"Did you see that?" Jon exclaimed to Roc, his eyes wide with amazement.

Roc nodded knowingly. "The only beings I know who could pull off a move like that are Jedi."

Jon shook his head in frustration. "Lieutenant McDaniels is going to be furious that we let the suspect slip away again."
The team headed back to CSF Headquarters to report to Senator Palpatine. He cautioned them that the Senate was about to vote on war with the independent systems and that the suspect might target the Senate meeting. Palpatine also emphasized the confidentiality of their unit and instructed them not to discuss their activities with anyone.
